Close Friends and FamilyThe reasons I work so much and that computers "are my life" are shown here my loving family, without whom I would have little reason for being much less working.....My oldest son is Bart (6/20/62). He manages a Shoney's Restaurant in Florence SC. Wonder who it is that he looks like anyway? Bart is fluent in several languages including Mandarin Chinese, French, Spanish, Russian, English, German and Latin. I'm not sure that he will ever speak fluent "southern" though! And this man can cook in several different languages! He is still a single man. But, hey gals, you missed it! Bart is set to marry Miss. Right on June 12, 1999! Her name is Theresa Q. Blake. She has a son named Leonard, they call him "Buddy." Don't they look like a great family?
(Bart in Nashville, IN) Theresa, "Buddy" and Bart My "middle Child" is my daughter Mary (9/12/69). She teaches English for the College of Micronesia In Kolonia, Pohnpei in the Federated states of Micronesia. They are some 16 hours ahead of us in time and light years ahead of everyone in the pace of their world. My first and only Granddaughter, Nastassia, is the only child of Mary and her husband, Scott. Mary has a Masters Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and has taught in both South Korea and Mexico prior to moving to Micronesia. Mary sees the fact that she was a High School Drop Out as a negative and wonders why anyone would think it a high point in her life that she turned it all around. She quit school to marry Scott and later took the GED and SAT, did so well on the SAT she decided to go to college. Then Mary hung around colleges long enough to graduate with her Masters Degree from the University of Southern Illinois. I admire Mary for that. To me her accomplishment is awesome, one of which I am very proud! Scott is an accomplished artist and has a Bachelor's Degree in Art & Philosophy from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina where Mary graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor's Degree in English. To see some of his philosophy and awesome art, check out Scott's home page! Debby and I love Scott's art so much that each of us carries some of his art with us everywhere we go!
John is my youngest son (5/22/73). He is married to the former Terri L. Cooper of Bloomington, Indiana where they both now reside. They just had their first child on November 25th, 1998. His name is John Barnabas Horne and he has his own Web Site! Go see it! Little John is my first and only Grandson. They have another "little one" and her name is "Coral" a cute pug-nosed doggie shown here asleep on the couch in their home. John works for Cook, Inc. They are a maker of medical procedure supplies (e.g., heart catheters, splints, etc.)

(Corel taking a nap) (Terri and JB on Little John's 1st day of life) Then there's the youngest of them all, Krystle, my step-daughter (2/24/83). She is a delightful young person enjoying her youth, her life, her High School days and her neat friends. Of course she is silly, just look and see!
(Krystle, Isn't she pretty?) (Krystle acting a little silly) (Krystle Looking Good!!) My Mother-in-Law, Mary, is a very sweet lady, I am blessed.
My wife Debby is a wonderful person and a great cook (takes after her mom she does) and a looker to boot!
